Overview
CCCN is proud to support/profile cardiovascular nursing research through our annual conference and scientific sessions, small research grant and research excellence recognition award, as well as through our peer reviewed journal - the Canadian Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing.
CCCN's National Research Committee is comprised of representatives from each provincial chapter and meets annually in conjunction with the CCCN annual conference each October.
The National Research Committee, lead by the National Research Chair, oversees the peer review and selection process of the abstracts to be presented at CCCN annual scientific sessions held each October in conjunction with the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress.
The Committee also conducts the peer review process to adjudicate the recipient of the small research grant, through which CCCN provides a maximum of $5,000 to support research projects pertaining to cardiovascular nursing in Canada.
