Carol Laberge

CCCN Secretary/Treasurer Candidate

With my background in Cardiovascular Nursing for the past 15 years, experience with managing large health care budgets as a manager and director, experience as the Provincial Treasurer for the CCCN of BC and Yukon, education at a Master's level in Leadership and current study towards a PhD in Human and Organizational Development, I feel I have the expertise and skill to assist CCCN at the National level in becoming the renowned organization it deserves to be. Cardiovascular Nurses in Canada, on a daily basis practice evidence based, cutting edge work and I want to work on behalf of CCCN to support this. I believe CCCN to be the voice of Cardiovascular Nursing in Canada and I am honoured to be nominated as Secretary Treasurer to represent this important body of nurses. My goals for this role are to support and empower the membership to continue to grow and to have a voice not only at the National level but at the International level as well. I would also work to ensure that CCCN remains fiscally responsible and financially secure. I look forward to working on your behalf on the National Board of Directors as Secretary Treasurer. For this to happen I will need your vote so please attend the National CCCN Annual General Meeting on Sunday, October 26th to make your vote count.

Thank you

Carol Laberge, RN, BScN, MALT, PhD(c)
