CCCN is announcing a Call for Abstracts related to any aspect of cardiovascular and / or cerebrovascular nursing for presentation at the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC) being held in Montreal October 24-27, 2019. CCC is the largest gathering of cardiovascular health professionals and researchers in Canada, drawing attendees from across the country and around the globe. The CCC is a unique opportunity for updating and maintaining scientific knowledge through accredited educational opportunities, while also providing an ideal forum for networking and research advancement.
CCCN Nursing Science will be presented as a Nursing Track within the CCS Scientific Program, throughout the entire four days of Congress. In submitting a nursing abstract, you will not identify the format of presentation. CCS has transitioned from Oral Presentations to Moderated Presentations and ePosters Sessions. The CCCN Research Committee will adjudicate the nursing abstracts and determine the format of ePoster or a Moderated Presentation.
CCCN Submissions are peer-reviewed in one of two categories: research and non-research. An abstract is reviewed in the “research” category if it describes some aspect of an original piece of research, either as ‘completed research’ or ‘research in progress’. The “non-research” category includes abstracts that do not describe an original piece of research (i.e., theoretical or clinical application).
